Access to these databases was purchased for you by the Cameron Public Library. A valid Library card is required to access these databases from outside the Library.  Ask a librarian which database best fits your needs.

Doctor and Patient

Searchable full-text for journals, reference books and encyclopedias, as well as images, videos, and diagrams covering areas of health and wellness.

Medical Consultation

MedlinePlus is a free online health information resource for patients and their families and friends. It is a service of the National Library of Medicine (NLM), the world's largest medical library, and a part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). No library card is required.

Therapy Session

This award-winning resource provides middle and high school students with up-to-date, nonjudgmental, self-help support. Articles are correlated to state, national and provincial standards. Topics covered include diseases, drugs, alcohol, nutrition, mental health, suicide, bullying and LGBTQ+ information. It has recently been updated to meet the needs of today’s teens and with new content on bullying, suicide, vaping, opioid abuse, gender identity, school safety, sexual harassment, COVID-19 and more.
