LIBRARY CARDS
Residents of Cameron
Library cards are free to residents living within the city limits of Cameron, MO because a portion of city property taxes goes toward the library.
To provide proof of residency within the District, you will need to bring either:

A valid government issued photo ID with current address
-or- -
A valid government issued photo ID and a document bearing your name and current address (e.g, utility bill, mortgage, lease, property deed, most recent property tax bill, voter registration card, or vehicle registration).
Non-Residents
If you live outside of Cameron's city limits, there is an annual fee of $25.00, since city library taxes are not collected. It allows you up to two cards and access to the library and all library services, including computers, on site material and our eBook service.
Students
Students living within the Cameron School District area qualify for a free library card. Please bring in a student ID or other paperwork from the Cameron Schools system. Homeschooling families, please bring a copy of your property tax receipt showing that you reside within the Cameron School District area.
Library cards will be issued to individuals ages 17 and younger with the signature of the parent or legal guardian with whom they reside and who meets the residency requirement.
BORROWING

You may borrow up to 10 items per library card and may keep most items for up to three weeks. Renewals are available for most items.
Special Item Checkouts -
Please return special items in person, do not use the bookdrop box.

4 DVDs may be checked out per card at a time

1 Board Game and/or STEAM Kit may be checked out per card at a time

Items can be renewed at the Library, by telephone, or through the online catalog. We do not charge late fees, but if the books are not returned in good condition within a timely manner we may have to charge for replacement.
