Residents of Cameron

Library cards are free to residents living within the city limits of Cameron, MO because a portion of city property taxes goes toward the library.

To provide proof of residency within the District, you will need to bring either:

  • A valid government issued photo ID with current address

  • A valid government issued photo ID and a document bearing your name and current address (e.g, utility bill, mortgage, lease, property deed, most recent property tax bill, voter registration card, or vehicle registration).

If you live outside of Cameron's city limits, there is an annual fee of $25.00, since city library taxes are not collected.  It allows you up to two cards and access to the library and all library services, including computers, on site material and our eBook service.
