Who We Are
The Cameron Public Library has been in its current building since 1989 when it was moved from above the old State Highway Department building on Third Street. It has grown greatly since the idea was created in 1975. The first library opened as the Bicentennial Library through donations, book sales and civic contributions. It opened officially in November 22. Many people have supported the library in the past and our community continues to support it through City Taxes, donations and member dues. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our patrons and the community in your reading, study, computer and information needs.
